The Transitional Organised Crime Unit (TOCU) has destroyed a large quantity of illegal drugs in a joint operation with the NDLEA and Office of National Security.
The destroyed substances included cocaine, kush, tramadol, and cannabis, with an estimated street value exceeding $1 million.
TOCU officials reaffirmed government commitment to tackling drug trafficking, warning that substance abuse poses a serious threat to national security and the future of young people.
