KID-AFAN Signs AMAA-Nominated Actor Glamour Raider to Management Deal

Sierra Leonean actor Abdulai Saidu Kamara, widely known as Glamour Raider, has officially signed a management agreement with KID-AFAN, opening a new chapter in his acting career.

The agreement, signed a few days ago, places the talented actor under the management of Dr. Isatu Kakay-Diallo, CEO of KID-AFAN and one of Sierra Leone’s leading filmmakers and producers.

The partnership is expected to focus on career development, brand building, project selection, marketing, and creating opportunities for Glamour Raider to reach audiences beyond Sierra Leone.

Glamour Raider has built a growing reputation in the country’s movie industry through his performances in films such as The Scuffle, Money Sweet, and Code of Honor. His role in Code of Honor earned him a nomination at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), making him one of Sierra Leone’s promising actors.

Speaking about the agreement, Glamour Raider said he believes KID-AFAN is the right team to help him achieve his long-term goals.

He said the company’s vision, professionalism, and commitment to the film industry gave him confidence to sign the management deal.

“The right management team should not only help an actor find opportunities but also build a strong and lasting career. I believe KID-AFAN shares my vision and has the experience to guide me to the next stage of my journey,” he said.

The actor added that he hopes the partnership will help him secure bigger movie roles, improve his skills, strengthen his personal brand, and connect with wider audiences across Africa and internationally.

For her part, Dr. Isatu Kakay-Diallo described Glamour Raider as a talented actor with great potential.

She said KID-AFAN believes the actor has what it takes to compete at the highest level and that the company is ready to provide the professional support needed for his growth.

“Our role is to guide his career, promote his brand, help him choose the right projects, and connect him with opportunities that will take his talent to the next level,” she said.

According to Dr. Kakay-Diallo, the management agreement covers career planning, script review, project selection, marketing, and coordination with producers, agents, publicists, and legal advisers. The company will also work to ensure the actor has a healthy working environment and balanced schedule as his career continues to grow.

She said KID-AFAN remains committed to discovering and developing talented Sierra Leonean actors who can tell African stories to global audiences.

“As filmmakers, we tell stories that reflect the realities of our society. We need talented actors who are bold, disciplined, and ready to bring those stories to life. This signing is another step towards building a stronger Sierra Leone movie industry,” she said.

Glamour Raider also used the occasion to thank his supporters for standing by him throughout his journey.

He promised to continue working hard and encouraged young actors to stay focused, remain disciplined, and never stop learning.

The management deal is seen as another important step for KID-AFAN as the company continues to invest in local talent and strengthen Sierra Leone’s growing film industry.

Industry observers believe the partnership could create more opportunities for Glamour Raider while contributing to the international promotion of Sierra Leonean films and actors.
